The 2012 Conference—Denver
We gathered in Denver for three spectacular days packed with education and inspiration. We were delighted to draw members from far and wide. Over 250 aquaponic enthusiasts, gardeners and farmers attended presentations, lectures and workshops featuring Dr. James Rakocy, formerly of the University of the Virgin Islands, renowned researcher Dr. Wilson Lennard, author Dr. James Ebeling, Olomana Gardens’ Glen Martinez, DIY video icon Murray Hallam, as well as other aquaponic experts and educators from around the country. Conference registrants were offered a tour package featuring stops at several Denver-area aquaponic farms. “This year’s lineup was just amazing,” said Gina Cavaliero, Chairman. “We had something for every aquaponic enthusiast, whether they were just exploring the field, starting out or have been gardening or farming for years.”
