A highlight of the Putting Down Roots conference was Ryan Crist's aquaponic trailer in the vendor showroom.This trailer holds a fully functional aquaponic system complete with pumps, fans, sensors, and controllers for automation. It has minimal power needs due to a battery bank and renewable energy sources.Ryan built the aquaponic trailer with a "Best Prototype" grant for a system able to grow plants in arid climates.
